Are you homeless?
We Support You
The House Momentum is for you who need a safe place to be. Here you will meet warmth, respect and the basic framework that can create calm and stability in a difficult period.
We are a temporary housing facility under the Social Services Act § 110 for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and who also have personal or social challenges.
We offer temporary shelter and support to cover the most basic needs. A stay with us is more than just a bed. There is always the option of food and drink, a shower, laundry and professional social counselling.
A Safe Community
We value creating an environment characterised by safety, respect and personal development. Our residents work actively on their own situation and are the main characters of their own story.
The House Momentum is fully furnished, and you cannot bring your own furniture. All residents are responsible for tasks such as cleaning, washing up and communal cooking. Residents share a kitchen, living room and bathroom.
To ensure a safe environment for everyone, The House Momentum has zero tolerance for violence, threats, abuse, bullying, alcohol, drugs and gambling.
To be considered for a place, the following is required: NO active abuse of alcohol or drugs. NO serious untreated mental disorders with psychotic or manic symptoms.
Your goals, wishes and dreams
If you get a place with us, you will be assigned a professionally trained contact person who, together with the rest of the team, will support you in creating the development and change you wish for in your life. We work holistically and take your goals, wishes and dreams as our starting point. Together we work to strengthen your well-being, independence and opportunity to move on to your own home.
